- was a productive day. i scrambled eggs, picked apples, bought gourds, waited thirty minutes in line for an apple cider donut (questionable), had a picnic, shed some tears, talked to my grandma, drove our car (timidly) around a state park, cooked pumpkin & black bean soup and baked corn bread.
